I absolutely love the negative spaces created by the overhead signals and the railway tracks. I find it so satisfying to draw each space and to play around with it. This my version of mindfulness colouring books. I find it so relaxing to do it. That said, I did manage to corrupt the original drawing by playing around too much with transformations. So I've actually drawn this twice! Double the relaxation!!! (not so relaxing when I realised I had messed up the file).
Although you can't beat the tactile feeling of sketchbook and pen, the iPad and the Apple Pencil are such useful tools for drawing complex images such as this. It has become my medium of choice for drawing.
